Precautions for sanitary ball valve during combustion:

1. During the combustion period, the meter readings are recorded every 30 seconds.

2. Turn off the gas when the combustion period reaches 30 minutes.

3. Immediately measure the amount of water collected in the scale container 19 as the total leakage through the valve seat, and then continue to collect the water in the scale container 19 to determine the external leakage rate.

If the test valve is of inlet sealing type, the volume of water falling between the inlet and outlet sealing seats after the valve is closed can be determined before the test, and this should be indicated in the test report. It is assumed that during the test, the water passes through the valve, the outlet seal seat and is collected into the calibration vessel. Since the water does not leak through the inlet seal seat, it should be subtracted from the total amount measured when determining the leakage through the valve.

Note: if the total amount collected from the outlet during combustion and / or cooling is less than the volume of the body cavity, the leakage through the seat can be considered as zero.

4. Reduce the valve temperature to 212 degrees or less, and record the readings through the observation gauge 4 and scale container 19. According to the manufacturer's needs, natural cooling or forced cooling can be selected at will.

5. The following low pressure tests are only required for class 600 and lower API specification 6D valves. Depressurize to low test pressure and measure the leakage through valve and external after 5min.

6. Open the test valve at high pressure difference, the valve will move to a half open position, close and cut off valve 16, and discharge the air or water vapor in the pipeline and the chamber of the test valve.

7. Under high test pressure, the valve is in the open position for 5min, and the external leakage is measured and recorded.

The test system excluding the test valve can be adjusted to keep the test in limit during the test.
